Temburong District consists of various races, ethnicities, and religions. However, this does not deter the citizens and residents in said district from maintaining strong solidarity and close cooperation. The solidarity was clearly reflected when His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam graced the Get-Together Ceremony with citizens and residents of said district. Accompanying His Majesty were His Majesty's sons and brother, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik; and His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.

 

As the second largest district, Temburong District continues to enjoy rapid development that are inclusive and holistic. As with other districts, Temburong District continues to thrive in the economic field via the One Village One Product, such as ' Kuih Wajid' that is synonymous with the said district.

 

The Sultan Hassan Secondary School strives to further improve knowledge, skills and quality of learning. Collaboration and strong support from various agencies in making the event a success reflected the people's undivided loyalty to His Majesty and the nation. The lively atmosphere also portrayed the close ties between the Monarch and the people.

 

His Majesty and members of the Royal Family then proceeded to the Banquet Hall. His Majesty was introduced to 4 individuals who made significant contributions to the country.

 

Doa Selamat was read by Awang Haji Sahrin bin Haji Kadeh, Syariah Subordinate Court Judge.

 

Temburong District which is known as the Green Jewel and various ethnic groups continues to enjoy rapid progress.
